alot of those pics are also in the game informer i got a while back, in the mag it said that all the images were taken from a 360 dev kit running in real time. pretty fancy i must say. however there was one picture in the mag that isnt here that really impressed me more than the others, it was of a guy squating down in some building with a bunch of pipes, it really showed off the shadowing.
perhaps sony has something to do with it. maybe they made disney mad. linky: http://www.imdb.com/news/sb...
the wii can sell all it want it still doesnt make it a next-gen machine and 2 years from now no one will be playing it everyone will be playing their 360 or ps3. i'll buy it when its $99 like it should be.
well it cost a lot more to make games nowadays too so they have to sell more. and on top of that even if the ps3 sell more systems, say 5 million total that still doesn't change the fact that the 360 userbase will be bigger (3 times bigger by then) and xbox owners tend to be much more loose with their money when it comes to buying games as seen by the very high attach rate from both the original xbox and the 360. thats a lot of money to be passing up. but hey maybe their shareholders DON'T li...
IBLEEDBLU you sir are a tool id take a bubble from you but well you dont have any left to take.
i actually laughed at that, out loud. "+" bubble for you sir.
well as far as i know the first two halos were graphical showcases for the original xbox so i dont think you can really say that its not at all about the graphics... yes gameplay is first but the graphics have always mattered too. i mean halo was the number one/two game that showed how much better the original xboxs hardware was over the ps2 and gamecube.
and... im out of bubbles... thank you fanboys.
i live in wisconsin i HAVE to agree.
i dont know that halo 3 will look much better come sept 25th but i do know that bungie has always built thier game with gameplay in mind first and THEN make it look pretty. and since they are doing the beta to fine tune the GAMEPLAY and work out bugs i think its kinda safe to say that perhaps they havent gotten to the pretty stuff just yet. thats why thier beta unlike many other companies betas MAY improve quite a bit graphically when its all finished. again i said MAY... but i think its a pr...
i read somewhere that this makes some people puke from motion sickness. but i have to say really is this needed? how much is enough? i got two 50" 720p/1080i sets and i am more than happy.
maybe disney is mad at sony? linky: http://www.imdb.com/news/sb...
yeah you say "it doesn't work. i want my money back." they say "do you want to exchange it" you say "no thanks i don't think i want something that breaks this easy" but you have already swaped the good one... hehehe
p.s. some walmarts are better than other with their returns, but since you are buying it and returning it like 24 hours later most never ask any questions. hell i had one friend who got his at best buy and he had lost his receipt and b...
well the failure rates cant be 100% that would mean out of a little more than 10 million xboxes 10 million dont work and if 10 million dont work who the hell is playing with me on xbox live all the time? id say about 20%. there is a serious hardware flaw (warping mobo), also couple that with retarded consumers that dont hook up thier av cable right thus giving a false ring of death and you got trouble. but the way i look at it either M$ or walmart are paying for it in the long run, no skin of...
im on my third, thats what walmart is for, just buy another one, swap your hard drive and return the crappy one. total down time about 30 min. its almost kinda nice in a way i keep getting newer and newer versions and i always swap my worst worn controller for the new one.
@made below, well you would think that, and like i said many consumers are plain dumb, but i have mine sitting on a glass shelf with no doors and room to breath and still im on my third, now my roommate he ha...
its all about price. first one below $200 will win. just like game sytems, they wont sell like hotcakes untill they are $200 or less, hence the wii selling so well $250 - $50 GAME BUNDLED IN = $200; however, the wii has VERY short legs since its tech is so old, there are only so many things you can do before it gets old and just looks dated.
ive got an older 50" samsung dlp and i love it. as far as getting the most bang for your buck a samsung dlp is by far the best way to go if you dont care about mounting your tv on your wall. plus there is zero worry of burn-in with dlp. its a great tech. i also have a rca 50" dlp... not as good.
sweet sh!t
yeah the wii has like a 2 year life span tops. 3rd place again for nintendo. once the ps3 and 360 drop in price a bit its game over for them. i mean even if microsoft drops thier price only $50 that makes the 360 the same price as the wii. who the hell in thier right mind would buy a $250 gamecube when they could have a next gen system.
thats brave a fps launching aside halo... must be good if they are that confident.
as a side note sept 3rd is also the day the gears map pack turns free.
yes i agree as well even if it was straight up multi platform from launch i wouldnt care. i dont get why some fanboys get thier panties in a bunch when a game goes multi platform... maybe its cuz they spent $200 more for thier system, i dont know.
